We have built a common vision with photographer Assaf Shoshan during our walks in the Villa Medici gardens. In these gardens, we’ve noted a form of melancholy in the matter, in the erosion of antique collections subject to the jerky outbreak of the Roman Spring. We saw the reflection of neuroses linked to the difficulty of being situated with respect to nature; the same neuroses that have been reflected over time - from Ovid's “Metamorphosis” to today's ecological malaise.
